Here’s what some of my former students say:
"Firstly I want to thank you for one of the best courses I have ever seen. It was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever been involved in.
As announcers we all become safe by dong what we feel is right and if it works we ask ourselves, ‘Why should I change?” Well Gentlemen I am hear to tell you that after taking this course the skepticism that I had whether I made the right choice to go kicked me right between the eyes. Chad brings it to the table and the content quality you will learn will give you all a wake up call and teach you how to do it right. I have applied what I have leaned and am getting nothing but positive responses from those who are booking me for their events. We learn the business from the beginning to the close of the rodeo so please join us that have been there and start the change in quality to the most incredible performance ever heard and only you can do this. Chad does not only change who you are but is the best person I have ever met to build a path forward as a professional and an ambassador of the sport we call rodeo. You are my mentor and frankly will always be. You brought me to the level that I would always hope to get to some day and now I have those tools. Also, the fellow professionals really made the course action packed while supplying new concepts as well. What can be said about Mr. Bob Tallman? He instilled a fire in all of us and a passion to get out there and do it.
One last thing, the help you get from those who take the course with you are some of the best people you will ever meet and will always have a network after the course you can't get any where else.
Thanks again Chad and please sign me up for the Houston Seminar,"

"Even several weeks after the four full days of Rodeo Announcer’s Training, it’s still sinking in! Since I returned home from the seminar, I have reviewed my notes countless times, listened to the tapes of the lectures, and have taken time to consider the broad spectrum of material presented in the course… and what a grand spectrum it was! Four days of class allowed us time to really dig in to the meat of rodeo announcing; there is so much more to this business than just the two hour performance. Main topics covered included show preparation, opening ceremonies, organization and flow of the actual rodeo, event preface and construction, working with other contract personnel, selling the rodeo, and finally the ‘business’ side of announcing. A person would be hard-pressed to find another educational opportunity that offers such a comprehensive and complete package.
The knowledge and expertise you shared with us regarding the business aspect of this occupation is extremely invaluable to me as a young announcer. Knowing how to market yourself and knowing the basics of how to negotiate a contract are perhaps the two most important things we as announcers do.
We were fortunate to have several guest speakers from different realms in the rodeo industry speak to us and explain what they desired in a rodeo announcer, which helped us see the purpose and importance of our duties from a different perspective. The opportunity to visit the Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo and meet with key people behind-the-scenes was phenomenal in-and-of itself.
What possibly impressed me the most about this course was the way it appealed and applied to announcers of all levels. The experience of my fellow students ranged from those who had never announced, to members of the PRCA, and included a nice mix of everything in-between. It was great to have the chance meet so many other announcers who are at a comparable level to me in their careers. The group melded wonderfully, and quickly became good friends.
I really liked the idea of the in-class presentations, even though they took some time. It gives you a chance to hear the students and critique each one individually, which is one reason we came to the school in the first place. It also gives the students a chance to hear their peers. It certainly humbled me my first time up!
I really liked the idea behind bringing other personnel in and sharing their expertise with us.
I really liked the way we broke down the events and learned how to organize them.
I really liked the direction you gave us on building an opening.
I really liked the insight into the business side of the business.
I really liked the motivation you provided to each of us and the way you pushed us to get better.
Chad, your seminar has helped me identify my stronger points and focus on my weaker points as an announcer, and has given me the knowledge, tools, and confidence in my ability to improve my product and reach the next level. It was without a doubt worth every dollar and every minute spent. My compliments on a tremendous curriculum and presentation."

"I want to thank you so very much for all of the information and guidance you provided to me. I learned more in four days about announcing a rodeo, than I have trying to do it by trial and error for the past seven years. I learned loads of key information from you, the class and the Special Guests you invited to join us.
Arriving in Ft. Worth and meeting you made me so nervous that I could barely speak. Talking to you on the phone and then in person was an absolute shock. You impressed me the moment I met you by the way you present yourself and approach people. As the days went on I finally relaxed a bit.
From the moment we started the class it only got better and better as the hours went on. Having Bob Tallman stand in front of me and shaking my hand, was absolutely the greatest honor I have ever had. But, having him tell me to impersonate him, in front of him, was very nerve-racking, to say the least. Getting to meet working Stock Contractors and Specialty Acts that could answer our questions and help the class on our journey was great. I now see exactly where I want to be. I want to bring the best possible show to every rodeo I announce. You helped me find a new drive and a new structure for my performances. I really recommend your Pro Rodeo Announcer’s Training Seminar to any Announcer that wants to excel in this business. I am already looking forward to next year’s advanced seminar in Houston. Hopefully, by that time, I will have my Pro Card and traveling quite a bit more than I am now.
In closing, I sincerely appreciate the guidance, kindness, and pep-talks you gave me. I am sure there will be more in the future. I consider you one of my mentors and take every word you say to heart. You are truly a great person for sharing your knowledge with other people to improve on the sport we all love. Thanks again and be safe going down the road."

"This school will not just teach you the true basics of announcing, but you who you are. Taking this class, I realized who I am, what I am made of, and how I can turn all of that around and apply it during rodeo performances, standard public speaking, and definitely in everyday life. Get ready to learn fast! Chad Nicholson knows the business of rodeo inside and out. His years of experience, respect of the industry, dedication to the job, and his continuous effort of networking with PRCA announcers, will have you walking away from this class a changed person at heart, and for the better! Thank you Chad for including me in your class.
So, in other words, thank you Chad! You should be proud of what you have accomplished. You have encouraged me to keep going full throttle. Bob Tallman also taught me a great deal. Keep it going. You are on to something that is needed to keep the spirit of the PRCA and the whole lifestyle of rodeo alive. With your efforts, I know it will."

"Chad is a great teacher and shares his experiences with us on how to conduct business and make a better product for the fans of rodeo. It is well worth the investment to make if you are serious about your product and making the rodeo better for fans and committees. With his lessons, you will become better and make more money for everyone. He has catapulted me many levels in my announcing and helped me deliver a better product."

“In the spring of 2006, I attended Chad Nicholson’s Pro Rodeo Announcer School in Dallas, TX. What a Great Investment of my time and money! Given the wealth of information that Chad brought to the table, I should have paid a lot more! As an experienced rodeo announcer I thought I had the pieces to the puzzle. Chad helped me put them together in a manner that is bringing me more booked performances with much higher pay. Further, the level of professionalism I now have brings me a great deal of satisfaction.
I recommend Chad’s Rodeo Announcer School with out reservation to anyone in this business that wants to go to the next level!”

“I learned more in 3 days about announcing rodeo than I have learned in 14 years trying to do it! Chad’s School was an experience that I will never forget!! The depth of knowledge Chad brings to the classroom is one that any person that gets behind the microphone could use! No matter what their experience is from beginner to PRO. I HIGHLY recommend this school for anyone who presently announces rodeos or is just getting started. Chad will fill in the blanks. I took the info that I learned, returned home, and that next weekend put it to use. After the rodeo I received numerous compliments on my improvement and presentation. That's all the proof I needed to know that the money I invested in myself was well worth it. Chad teaches the tricks of the trade that only years of experience can bring. After returning home, I studied the notes that I took during the school and realized that there was not one area that he did not cover. I've been to lots of schools in my business and have never returned without questions or problems. With Chad’s school that was not the case. I also truly believe your statement, “When you need me, CALL ME.” If you have someone in the future that needs to know why they need to attend your school, please give them my phone number. I don't care how long they have been announcing, Chad can make them better. NO DOUBT!”
